8 Reasons why YOUR health matters!

To have Health is to have abundant vitality, it encompasses not just the absence of disease or infirmity, it is a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

Here is what health means to me…

1.      Quality of Life: Good health allows me to enjoy my life to the fullest, engaging in activities I love, and spend time with children, family and friends without limitations forced by illness, pain, or discomfort.

2.      Achieving Goals: When I'm healthy, I have the energy, stamina, and mental clarity to pursue my goals and aspirations, whether they're related to evolving my business, personal ambitions (a triathlon is on the cards - eeekkk!), or hobbies such as cooking and getting creative!

3.      Emotional Wellbeing: Physical health is without doubt intrinsically linked to our emotional wellbeing. When I'm physically healthy, I'm more prepared to cope with stress, maintain positive relationships, and cope with life's curve balls and challenges.

4.      Independence: Being healthy enables me to maintain my independence and autonomy as I age. It allows me to continue living life on my own terms without relying heavily on others for assistance.

5.      Being an Active Role Model: Taking care of my health sets a positive example for those around me, whether it's my children, my family, friends, or colleagues. It demonstrates the importance of self-care and inspires others to take action to prioritise their health as well.

6.      Prevention: By prioritising my health through healthy lifestyle choices and regular check-ups helps to prevent illnesses and conditions that could otherwise impact my quality of life and longevity.

7.      Cost Savings: Investing in my health now leads to cost savings in the long run by reducing the need for sick leave or unnecessary medical expenses associated with preventable illnesses and chronic conditions.

8.      Happiness: Ultimately, consistent good health contributes to my overall happiness and gratitude with life. Feeling physically and mentally well allows me to experience joy, fulfilment, and a sense of purpose and quite frankly who doesn’t want more of that!

Remember, that you are the sole owner of your health and happiness, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you need some help and support to transform your wellbeing, I am here to help. Let’s chat and take the first step towards a happier, healthier you.

With arms wide open with love and kindness,
